David H. Moskowitz is a practicing attorney in Atlanta, Ga., specializing in workers’ compensation. He’s served on the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council from 1996 until 1997 and was the President of the Workers’ Compensation Claimants Lawyers (WCCL) from 1996 until 1998. Moskowitz became a member of the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Advisory Commission in 2000 and the Georgia Judicial Nominating Committee from 2000 until 2003. Moskowitz became an Inductee to College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers in 2010 and is frequently a speaker and lecturer on workers’ compensation issues.

He also has also served on a number of professional sports league Workers’ Compensation panels. Since 2003, he’s sat on the Workers’ Compensation panel for the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA). From 2003-09, he served on the Workers’ Compensation panel for the National Football Players League Association (NFLPA). Moskowitz also served as a Workers’ Compensation panel member for the Professional Hockey Players League Association (PHPA) from 2003 to 2012.

He served as chairman of the Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Board from 1990 until 2008 and on the State Bar of Georgia Transition into Law Practice Program by Chief Justice Leah Spears in 2008. He participated in the Georgia State Ethics Commission from 2004 until 2006. He has been an AFL-CIO Friend of Labor since 2006. Moskowitz was awarded Excellence in Legal Profession by MALDEF in 2005. Moskowitz was born in LaGrange, Ga., and graduated from Emory University, B.A. (1979) and Emory University School of Law, J.D. (1984).
