Renaye provides overall coordination for the IWJ organizing department, including work with our local religion-labor affiliates and the creation of new affiliates. She also leads our work with national union partners on engaging IWJ in their work. Renaye began her tenure at IWJ in 2007 as a national organizer. She brings 20 years of labor and community organizing experience to her work at IWJ, 13 of them as a national field representative at the AFL-CIO, working on national strategic campaigns. She has a degree from Indiana University and serves as the outreach minister at her church in Hammond, Indiana.
