Congregational Commitment Form
The Congregational Commitment Form brings you and your congregation’s role to the forefront. As people of faith, we call for an economy that provides a job for everyone who wants and needs one. These jobs should provide living wages, decent health benefits, good working conditions and a voice and dignity in the workplace.

As people of faith, we call for an economy that provides a job for everyone who wants and needs one. We affirm that all jobs should be good jobs, paying living wages and benefits, ensuring workers’ health and safety, and allowing workers dignity and a voice at the workplace.
As part of the FAJ Network, we look forward to receiving timely information about what other congregations in the network are doing, updates on funding opportunities, a chance to connect with other congregations in our community and to participate in a monthly dialogue with others in the network, including more detailed trainings on various topics. Finally, we look forward to staying informed about the unemployment crisis and how we can work in support of program and public policy initiatives to overcome it.
Our congregation is committed to support the unemployed and the underemployed and their families. In addition to providing much-needed spiritual and emotional support, our support may involve assistance in filing for unemployment compensation and other state and federal programs, help with job training and job search, and, when possible, providing emergency support, such as food, clothing, or financial assistance. We will provide congregational and community education about the unemployment crisis and work in support of programs to address the unemployment crisis.
