This Training is designed for
• organizers with faith-based organizations or workers centers
• board members, leaders, or volunteers of interfaith organizations
• religious or community outreach staff of unions
Learn how to
• deepen outreach to the religious and labor communities
• apply direct action organizing principles to your work
• design creative interfaith actions
• develop active and engaged leadership in your organization
• raise money to support the work
• frame the message about religious values and workers' rights to the media
Trainers
Learn from the experts on IWJ's national staff. Staff bring extensive experience in interfaith organizing, labor relations, fundraising, and organizational development. Special sessions will also be held with Kim Bobo, IWJ Executive Director and co-author of Organizing for Social Change, the all-time best-selling organizing manual in the country. Kim brings over 30 years of experience as an organizer and trainer to this session.

Times
The training begins at 8:00am on Monday, October 4th. The training will be completed after lunch on Wednesday, October 6th. All participants should attend all sessions.

Tuition – includes meeting space, food, and materials.
